What you'll learn
- Walk the farm in the order energy travels: turbine, cable, substation and line.
- Read a vibration alarm and know why it is a signal past a threshold, not a fault.
- Keep a marked cable section as a flag for the procedure, never as a cut you make yourself.
- Write a note the control room can file, sign or return, with the isolation signature left blank.
- Apply the IntellCore AI Act Method™: classify the risk of an AI use case in your field and document it under the AI Act 2026.
Program curriculum
01 — The site
- What AI is and how it reached wind power
- Turbine, cable, substation and line
- What each part does when the wind comes in
- Who watches and who climbs
- Your role
02 — The number
- Where an alarm comes from
- Vibration, temperature and output
- A real morning at turbine 7
- The threshold at which the control room calls
03 — The boundary
- The model ranks by probability
- A marked section is not a cut
- What is missing
- A notice is opened, nothing is cut
04 — The tool
- The health score
- The cable fibre, without the acronym first
- What it does not hear
- Alarm, score and trace in one note
05 — The failure
- The alarm is pasted and accepted as noise
- The time and output are not kept
- The sentence is forwarded as a close-out
- What is reopened before the shift change
06 — The file
- Alarm, equipment, trace, time
- What was confirmed in the field and what was not
- Who isolates and who only flags
- A sheet the control room can file
07 — IntellCore AI Act Method™ applied to your field
- The EU AI Act 2026: risk levels, prohibited practices and obligations
- Transparency, human oversight and documentation in your professional field
- Classifying and auditing a real AI use case step by step
- Your compliance file: certified with the IntellCore AI Act Method™
Practical application
- · Work one case for six weeks: a 12-turbine farm, the export cable to the substation; at 06:10 a vibration alarm goes off on turbine 7 and the cable model marks a section. Nobody has looked in the field.
- · The student prepares the note and does not cut. Who isolates is a role in the procedure.
Practical project: A morning note: the data point, the proposal, what was not checked, the isolation signature left blank
Who is this for?
- · People who will sit in a wind farm control room without having climbed a turbine
- · Operations, maintenance and grid teams without turbine vocabulary
- · Analysts reviewing model outputs
Requirements
- · No prior wind experience
- · No programming required
- · 8 academic credits
